Kaede is inspired to become an idol when she sees the popular cover girl Susuran. Kaede is scouted for the same talent agency as Susuran but fails to sell during her debut, she doesn't meet Susuran either. Since she is not doing well as an idol, Kaede is given menial tasks around the office. That is, until she is asked to be a replacement for Susuran's manager.
